Higher Education Admission Requirements
Pre-Collegiate Curriculum admission standards is a combination of high school courses, primarily in the areas of English, mathematics, natural and physical sciences, and social sciences that Colorado's four-year public colleges and universities require for admission to their schools. The HEAR guidelines do not apply to community colleges or technical schools. Be sure to check with your prospective colleges to be sure that you are meeting their admission requirements.

**Note: An academic unit is equivalent to one full year of credit in a specific subject. For more specific information, see your counselor. College Opportunity Fund (COF)
COF is the state's "voucher" or "stipend" which covers $62 per credit hour . All students should register for COF at https://connection.naviance.com/fc/signin.php?hsid=gjhs . Click on the link for COF on the right hand side. It only takes a few minute but be sure to have your state ID and social security number ready when you register.
